On the holy occasion of Mataji’s 40th Birthday, Sri Shakti Peetam welcomes you to the grand Suvasini Pooja, a celebration where 10,000 Sumangalis will be honoured in Tirupati. This gathering brings together devotion, unity, and the strength of womanhood.

Suvasini Pooja is a sacred ritual that recognises married women as embodiments of the divine feminine. A Suvasini is the presence of Lakshmi who brings prosperity and as Durga who offers protection and courage. The ritual invites harmony, wellbeing, and blessings into every home.

During the ceremony, Suvasinis receive turmeric, kumkum, flowers, fruits, and sarees. Prayers are chanted to invoke the grace of the Goddess and to honour the sacred energy that a married woman carries. Families take part with devotion and seek peace and prosperity for the year ahead.

This tradition has been practised for generations and is known for its uplifting spiritual impact. It strengthens family relationships and honours the women who nurture, guide, and sustain the home.

Since 2019, Suvasini Pooja has brought thousands of women together in Vijayawada and Vizag. The 2026 celebration in Tirupati continues this legacy with even greater devotion and inclusiveness.
